AAA IWC The Mark XVIII Replica Watches in Black Ceramic

Each year’s Laureus watch has been different from the last – the preceding editions were the Da Vinci chronograph and ladies’ Portofino – but all share the same deep blue metallic dial.

In fact, it almost looks like how a 20-year old ref. 3706 would look today, with faux-patina lume on the indices and hands that mimic the look of aged tritium.

And the remake is powered by the same movement, the cal. 79320, which is still based on the reliable Valjoux 7750. But because the case has been enlarged while the movement diameter stays the same.

As with all High Quality Replica watches past and present, the movement is protected by a soft iron, antimagnetic inner cage.

Both the Lapis lazuli and the Malachite dials look fantastic on this watch design, and while it’s not something I’d ever purchase for myself, I do like the added color and personality that the Malachite and Lapis lazuli provide. This Replica Watch is certainly for a small audience of buyers given its high-end combination of materials, but I have no doubt that Omega will still find customers for it. I’m partial to the Lapis lazuli dial myself, as I’m a huge sucker for blue, but green is a rare color to find on watches and the Malachite is a unique look.
